MVP features both inside and covered outdoor sections for its bar and restaurant seating, along with more than 30 televisions. As previously reported, it is owned by Mike Granthon and Christopher Brown of Above the Bar Hospitality Group, which also owns such popular Siesta Village establishments as Beach Club and The Hub Baja Grill, both within walking distance. The sports bar and restaurant My Village Pub, or MVP, held its grand opening last week in a clock tower building on Siesta Village’s main drag of Ocean Boulevard. Sports fans now have a new spot to watch games while enjoying a cold drink or some pub grub when they’re on Siesta Key.
